About my school

 Dear Sir/Madame, I am very much glad and exited to be connected with you through this medium from far remote Village Tuichawng in lunglei District Mizoram, India.Our School ‘Mahabodhi Residential School’ has been working for strengthening the deserted children of thesociety.We have been working for these children since the past 13 years. We provide food, clothes, and quality education to these underprivilegedchild­­ren. Since the last decade, we have been receiving donations from many good hearted people. But, during the current economic crisis, we have been facing financial problems to run our school.We are seeking donations from every possible source we can. We daily approach hundreds of people for donations.Your donation will help greatly for providing a better quality of lifeto the less fortunate children of our school. You can either donate in cash or through items of dailyusage. It will be a great helpfor thesechildren and you will get their blessings.Additional­­ly, if you can come toour centre sometime and spend a couple of hours, playing and laughing with them, it will be surely a delight for them.Your generous donation can transform a child’s life. 2. Honorarium for Teachers.

3. Sponsor for needy child and underprivilegedchild­­ren.

4. Fooding for the Children.

5. Meditation-Cum-Prayer Hall.


Thank you for your attention andwe hope for your contribution to our school.The Mahabodhi Residential School was established in the year 2016 with just 25 girls and 45 boys selected from the most remote and ignored regions of Tuichawng areas. Today the school has grown huge and has a total of 200 above students pursuing their studies from nursery to 10th standard. It is affiliated to the Mizoram Board of School Education and has successfully established a hostel building and the students are under the care and guidanceof compassionate wardens. It isrun by the Ultimate Truth Preaching Mission andmanaged by the Mahabodhi School Managing Committee under the vibrant chairmanship of Mr. Rajesh Kumar Chakma, Tuichawng is situated at the crown of India in remote corner of Mizoram. The Mahabodhi Residential School is a natural and tranquil institutionaway from the din of the city which fosters an ideal educational environment for both students and the teachers. Amidst the beautiful hills the school nurtures the life of students coming together from the widespread hamlets in the region of Tuichawng. It is aunique school where young monks, boys& girls and orphan children receive seculareducation without any biases and differences. 


This school has been established for eradication of illiteracy among the indigenous Micro minority chakma children as the chakma people ofmizoram are lagging behind education due to financial problems.

Why is it so important to find a cause you love and volunteer your time? Spending time enriching your community is a great way to broaden your perceptions of the world. By immersing yourself in a community and surrounding yourself with people who are dedicated to bettering the world, you can learn so much about how the world works. You gain a unique sense of purpose by serving those around you, one which often manifests in other areas of your life.  Of course, it’s also important for your community! Without volunteers, many of the services and events we enjoy in our communities would not be so readily available. Spending time helping out at local shelters or food banks provides an important service to less fortunate neighbors. Giving back to the place you call home helps to unite the community and bridge some of the social, economic and political gaps.
